Tipping is a longstanding tradition in Chandigarh. All establishments do currently include the charge of service, being, however still common to leave something of a symbolic tip. The custom, widespread among bars and restaurants, has been extended to hotel porters and taxi drivers, though in none of these cases it is compulsory, nor will anyone recriminate a client for not tipping |
